The Power of Belief

Religion is driving me up the wall!

I can remember a time when it was considered traitorous to talk shit about the president of the United States - especially "during time of war." Oh, wait - that was the right wing conservatives during the Bush administration.

I guess it's standard practice today - war or no war. Maybe this time it's a war between Islam and Christianity. Or maybe it's just because this country still has a few bigoted, racist people who will dig for any excuse to bury someone who they don't agree with.

A John Lennon song keeps coming to mind. "Imagine no religion..." "Imagine no countries..." Problem is, just like God, Allah, Zeus, Thor and thousands of other gods, you can imagine it all you want, but in the end, it's just wishful thinking.

I sure wish there was another planet I could move to. Hurry up and get to Mars, already!

It's become the standard after 8 years of shrieking during the Bush Administration.

It's been going downhill since Kennedy and it's only going to get worse.

There was a billboard in NH that I did enjoy:
"Congratulations Jimmy Carter! You're no longer the worst President in history!"

    LOL
