Merry Frozen Christmas

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I didn't do anything for Christmas this year. Literally. Actually, that's not true. We put the first two windows in our house on Christmas Eve (plus the sliding door to the kitchen).

Next year will be a good Christmas. Not that this one wasn't good. I finally got my Christmas wish - a nice, quiet day all to myself. Well, sort of...if you don't count the phone calls. ;) Overall, it was pleasant.

Anyway, is it strange that crispy, crunchy carrots get soft when you freeze them?
